This project was tottaly spontaneous.
Murphy was in Poland cause of the Urban Wake event ( Wakeboarding competition in centre of Warsaw),
and I just got the Olympus I speed camera – shooting up to 2000 frames per secondfor testing.
After few hours of playing with the camera at home,
I realized that I need some “live” action to check potential of that cam.
So I asked Marek if he is still in Poland and is he able to stay one day longer after the competition to play together.
We set meeting at our friends cablepark, – WakeHouse (wakehouse.pl).
They just set second system ( Primus system) – on the pond and give it only for us for that evening.
As the camera is originaly designed for industry use (like ballistic, crash test, or other technical process which are hard to see with human eye), the workflow is much different comparing to normal video cams,
but with every minute of getting deeper into it I was amazed what that camera can do.
Murphy was throwing one trick after another and I was getting more familiar with the equipment with every minute.
The day was cloudy and the light was very soft. Few times we had to stop shooting cause of the rain.
When the light was gone the local riders and cablepark crew, start ed small party. I decided to take lamps and asked guys to do some funny or weired stuff to the camera – so water splashes and extinguisher testing started :).
As always the spontaneous sessions transform into great fun, and gives good results.
Thats the whole story – hope U like it.
