While many race fans relish over the flashy factory race bikes, teams, and gear, it’s easy to overlook the working class hero, the person who makes up the backbone of Supercross and motocross racing… The privateer. Southern California native, Scott Champion, is just that person. Financially funding his own racing career, if Champion doesn’t do well one weekend, it could potentially mean not enough funds to make it to the following race.
